"The Best Show of the Season!"

During what has been credited as "the best show of the season," the 'Top 7' finalists were revealed and performed their favorite soundtrack hits.

Jeremiah Shoen of Manitowoc took the stage first and performed "Pretty Woman" with Amanda Wachholz following with her song choice, "Believer." Ending the first half of the show, Green Bay's Carli Ihde performed "One Night Only" from the hit movie, DREAM GIRLS.

Manitowoc's Aimee Miller started the second half of the show with "Total Eclipse of the Heart." After Aimme, Larnell Moore performed his edition of "Climb Every Mountain" from the classic, THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Kari Sepnafski from Manitowoc followed Larnell with "Don't Cry for me Argentina" and Victor Schueller received a standing ovation with his "Unchained Melody."

Altough all 7 finalists were extremely amazing, only one 'Rising Star' truly stood out in the judge's minds as 7 out of the 8 judges awarded their points to Larnell, giving him 7,600 judges points. Main judge, Steve Lauson was the only judge who did not vote for Larnell. Instead, his 2,000 points were awarded to Jeremiah.

Before the evening, season one finalist Tyler Wicihowski entertained the audience as well as hosted the intermission interviews, live on WQTC - 102.3 FM.

The group songs of the evening were "The Phantom of the Opera" as well as "You Can't Stop the Beat" from the musical, HAIRSPRAY with a special solor appearance by Tyler Wicihowski.

Unfortunately, we had to say good bye to Manitowoc's Amanda Klein during the "Fantasy Island Theme" elimination.



Tickets on sale now at the Capitol Civic Centre for Round 5 - "Country." The 'Top 7' become the 'Top 6' with Tyler Wicihowski as the special guest judge of the evening.
