Major Updates

With the changes in technology and new ideas, I'm always looking to update, modify and improve our website. Therefore, as you will notice immediately, the Rising Stars! blog has a new outlook; but that's not the only new change I've made within the last 24 hours. Check out the Rising Stars! homepage by visiting www.lakeshoresrisingstars.com. There, you'll notice a new layout as well.

As you browse through the new site, you'll notice a few other changes as well. Take for example, the new page WHERE ARE THEY NOW? This page will continue to update as we re-connect with previous season one and two finalists. Currently, you'll find updated news on Jessica Plansky, Kari Sepnafski, Carli Ihde and Victor Schueller.

You'll also find the updated schedule for "Karaoke with the Stars!" as well as photos taken during each week's event. Within the coming weeks, I hope to add a section to this page called KARAOKE VIDEOS.

However, the biggest update (and coolest new technology) is the all new PHOTOS page. Using .Mac Web Gallery, I have created 8 different "events" in which browsers can view these photos in many different ways including, full screen slideshow, thumbnails, and more.

And as I have stated many times in the past, check back frequently for announcements regarding this year's line-up at 'The Encore Show' and Season Three details including the venue, dates, and more. I would love to tell you more about our plans for the future, but I unfortunately can not. However, I will tell you that we have spent the past few weeks meeting with major new key players that will hopefully help us expand the franchise.

I will also tell you that this year's 'Encore Show' will consist of 10 performers. Again, the complete line-up will be posted in the coming weeks. Also, the tentative ticket sale date is Monday, October 15.
