Time For Update!!!

Okay, so I figured it would be nice to update the blog and inform everyone what's been going on ...

Regarding the 'Encore Show' - as you may already know, we will be doing a special tribute to Andy Anderson. For those of you who did not know Andy, I encourage you, visit www.lakeshoresrisingstars.com and click "Podcasts." The latest entry is a 60-sec spot that is currently airing on WOMT and WQTC Radio. It is an honor of ours to have the opportunity to pay respect to Andy during this year's event.

Also, just confirmed - Jessica Plansky's 2-disc DEMO CD will be available for purchase at the 'Encore Show!' We are excited to be able to finally release this CD! (Great Christmas gift idea ...!) For more, visit www.jessicaplansky.com.

During this past weekend's rehearsal, we have finalized the show order and we are confident, you will LOVE the song selections! These performers truly are amazing and what they (including the band) can do in a short amount of time is unbelievable! My hats off to all of them - including my partner, Riley.

We have also decided that this year's charity for the 'Encore Show' will be the Salvation Army. A portion of each ticket sale will go straight to them and it is our privilege to help out an organization that makes a big difference in people's lives. When you support 'Rising Stars!' - you're supporting the Salvation Army.
