It's Here ... Season Two!

The most anticipated event of the summer is finally here ... Season Two of "Lakeshore's Rising Stars!" at the Capitol Civic Centre in Manitowoc and broadcasting live on WQTC - 102.3 FM!

This past weekend, singers all across Wisconsin auditioned for the chance to become a 'Rising Stars!' finalist. After the first two audition rounds on Saturday, 49 performers advanced onto Sunday's final rounds. Unlike Saturday's private auditions, these finalists performed on stage with a microphone in front of the remaining contestants and their family members.

Judging Sunday's auditions were the producers, Terry Stevenson and Riley Haupt as well as the three main judges - Jennifer Laymen, Debbie Seehafer and Tim Strews as well as Saturday's audition judge, Chris Doneff.

The first elimination took the 'Top 49' down to the 'Top 25.' From there, the 'Top 25' became the 'Top 15' and finally, after a 6+ hour day of auditions and three rounds later, the producers and judges came to an agreement and announced the 'Top 10' finalists of "Lakeshore's Rising Stars!" Season Two!

These finalists include:

-Carli Ihde (17) from Green Bay
-Amanda Klien (22) from Manitowoc
-Aimee Miller (22) from Manitowoc
-Larnell Moore (22) from Green Bay
-Victor Schueller (30) from Kiel
-Kari Sepnafski (32) from Manitowoc
-Jeremiah Shoen (28) from Manitowoc
-Amanda Wachholz (18) from Manitowoc
-Dinah Williams (28) from Milwaukee

This Saturday evening, beginning at 7:00 PM, the debut of Season Two will take place with these finalists being reveled for the first time ever on the Capitol Civic Centre stage! These finalists will be performing their favorite 'Pop' hits. Tickets are still available and are now on sale at the Capitol Civic Centre Box Office. Tickets are only $15.00 and you may purchase up to 6 tickets per transaction.
